Any faculty member who is not an investor in UF Research Computing may request a “try-and-buy” trial allocation for HiPerGator. Such a trial may only be granted once, and the allocation will give the same privileges a normal investor has. The size of the allocation and the duration will be negotiated with Research Computing staff. The duration varies typically between one and six months.
