Any faculty member who is not an investor in UF Research Computing may request a “try-and-buy” trial allocation for HiPerGator. Such a trial may only be granted once, and the allocation will give the same privileges a normal investor has. The size of the allocation and the duration will be negotiated with Research Computing staff. The standard allocation includes 16 NCU, 2 NGU, 1 BlSU, and 1 OrSU units for 3 months, although a different resource allocation and trial duration may be negotiated depending on the group’s workflows and needs.

  • Please provide details regarding your need for computational resources. Note: Standard Trial Allocation includes the following resources: 16 NCU, 2 NGU, 1 BlSU, 1 OrSU for 3 months.
