UF Informatics Institute announces Student Data Analysis Seminar

University of Florida’s Informatics Institute (UFII) announces the new Student Data Analysis Seminar (SDAS), which is beginning its initial offering this Fall 2017. SDAS will meet once a week on Thursdays during Period 7 (1:55PM – 2:45PM) in Room E252 CSE in the office of the UF Informatics Institute. The seminar is a venue for graduate students working on data analysis to learn about each other’s work, and to foster cross-departmental collaboration.

Attendance is open – graduate students, faculty, and interested undergraduate students are welcome to attend any week. Slots are available for speakers interested in presenting on a data analysis related topic (for example: theoretical frameworks, models, or applications).
