UF Research Computing deployed a test cluster for computational biology with the widely used Galaxy software on it to manage complex computing tasks in the life sciences. The ICBR organized an event focused on Galaxy. The featured guest speaker was James Taylor from Emory University, who is the chief architect of Galaxy.
