On Sunday afternoon the cluster queue was first started with jobs that had been held in a pending status from before the shutdown. Research Computing staff monitored the cluster during this time to ensure that all was operating as it should.

Once it was deemed to be safe, login nodes were opened up to allow users to login and resume their work. 

At this time, we believe that we are fully operational again. We are still monitoring for any issues that may still be happening. If you see anything in the operation of your jobs or interactive sessions, please file a ticket and we will look into it.

Be aware that we will also be doing another shutdown similar to this during the Christmas break, as the data center will need to be shutdown once more for power upgrades related to the AI cluster.
