Heartbleed Bug

As you have no doubt heard, the “Heartbleed Bug” refers to a serious flaw in libraries used to keep communications over the internet secure. Research Computing has taken all recommended steps to address the bug.  This includes but is not limited to replacing the affected software libraries with patched versions and replacing SSL certificates which may have been compromised.  As an additional measure, we recommend that all users change their passwords which can be done on our website (https://www.rc.ufl.edu/help/change-password/).

For more information about UF’s response to the bug, please see the UFIT webpage, Heartbleed Bug: Campus Impact
