Dec. 19th: Gatorlink Authentication Required

On Monday, December 19th at 7:00am, the transition to using GatorLink authentication for access to HiPerGator will be completed. We anticipate this change to take no more than a few minutes, and users who are already logged in will not lose their connection. Users accessing HiPerGator after December 19th will need to use their GatorLink username AND GatorLink password.

After December 19th, there will no longer be separate Research Computing accounts or passwords. Password changes will be through the main login.ufl.edu page.

Remember that eight attempts to login with an incorrect password will result in the machine you are logging in from being blocked from accessing HiPerGator.

You can prepare for the change by changing your password on HiPerGator at https://www.rc.ufl.edu/help/change-password (requires GatorLink authentication) to be the same as your GatorLink password any time between now and December 19th.

If your HiPerGator password is already the same as your GatorLink password, you do not need to do anything; the change will be imperceptible to you.
