All of the shutdown tasks have been completed and the cluster is now serving our customers again.

Some of the changes that have been made to the cluster:

  • New Orange storage has been installed and configured for use. This relieves the problems we were having with Orange storage being full. 
  • All of the lustre filesystems have been mounted in a new location:
    • Orange: /lustre/orange
    • Blue: /lustre/blue
    • Red: /lustre/red
  • In the server room itself, a lot of re-cabling occurred during this shutdown in order to move some old equipment out of the way to make room for new and to organize the equipment in a more suitable way.
